How to build Delphi FMX applications on older (unsupported by Apple) macs
I have several older Macintosh computers that I use to build, test and deploy macOS and iOS applications using the latest release of Delphi. This blog post contains information and links for the tools and videos I use to build my macOS and iOS applications.
Open Core Legacy Patcher (OCLP)
To be able to use an older, non-supported mac, I use the Open Core Legacy Patcher (OCLP) open source project. The “Dortania” developers keep OCLP up to date and test on the latest macOS releases. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/
OCLP Latest release (as of today) is version 2.2.0:

Watch great OCLP YouTube videos by Mr. Macintosh
There are a great series of YouTube videos by “Mr. Macintosh” that show you how to use OCLP and has demos of latest macOS versions running on many different legacy macs. https://www.youtube.com/@Mr.Macintosh
David I Note
I am running latest macOS Sequoia 15.3 with latest Xcode and command line tools on my iMac 2009, MacBook Pro 2012 and MacBook Pro 2015. Paserver works on these old legacy macs. I can build and test macOS and iOS apps. I have also built an iOS app, Ashland News Dispatches, that was accepted into the Apple AppStore 😀
