Embarcadero has issued a patch for Claude support within the RAD Studio IDE’s Smart CodeInsight AI integration, available for download through the RAD Studio GetIt package manager.
Claude recently deprecated some of the models which were supported by RAD Studio. The new models offered by Anthropic require API and JSON data mapping changes, which we are delivering with this patch.
Specifically, the patch enables support for newer Anthropic Claude models including:
- claude-opus-4-5-20251101
- claude-haiku-4-5-20251001
- claude-sonnet-4-5-20250929.
The patch also offers the ability to select one of the Claude models in the Smart CodeInsight configuration in the Tools Options dialog box.

RAD Studio 13 Smart CodeInsight Claude Patch Readme
This patch released in December 2025 includes an update to the Anthropic Claude API integration in RAD Studio 13.0, offering support for newer models such as claude-opus-4-5-20251101, claude-haiku-4-5-20251001, and claude-sonnet-4-5-20250929.
This patch also offers the ability to select one of the Claude models in the Smart CodeInsight configuration in the Tools Options dialog box.
It includes the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the ClaudeAPIPlugin370.bpl package, along with resource translation packages.
Installation Steps:
- Close all open instances of RAD Studio 13 (32-bit and 64-bit)
- Expand the content of the downloaded ZIP file for this patch in the respective installation folders (bin and bin64). Consider making a backup copy of the files first.

GetIt package manager is readonly with Delphi 64 bits IDE. How can I donwload this package, and others available through GetIt?

Use the 32bit version of the IDE to install any packages – most vendors also install 64bit versions when you install the 32bit version. Failing that you can go to the relevant website for the item you want to install by clicking on the supplier’s name.

I use Claude and the docwiki article is falling behind wrt setting up the proper configuration parameters. The article refers to Sonnet 3.5 but that went to 4.0 and and now 4.5. I’m having trouble guessing the proper parameters and I’m not able to find them anywhere on the Anthropic site either. What does a Delphi 13 configuration screen for Claude now look like, and in particular, what “Anthropic Version” works with 4.5? Thanks.
The article actually explicitly refers to Sonnet 4.5? I’m not sure where you get 3.5 from? When you install the patch, the readme gives guidance on the correct settings.
