ACBR Day 2024: 2 days of events wrapped up in an incredible experience
What is ACBr?
Before we begin, we need to talk about ACBr for those who don’t know. The ACBr Project is an open source project of components and programs designed to develop applications for the Brazilian commercial automation segment.
One of Embarcadero’s Tech Partners, its components developed in Delphi can be installed in RAD Studio to provide agility in creating solutions to help developers and software houses overcome the tough bureaucracy of the Brazilian tax and fiscal system, for example. Components ready to be reused for generating tax documents, integrating with hardware, among others. ACBr has become a gigantic community with more than 100,000 users registered on its forums.
The event and Embarcadero’s participation
And this community held its in-person event on November 8th and 9th, promoting a meeting packed with content and networking. ACBr Day 2024 featured the participation of several speakers addressing topics such as management, sales, marketing and software development.
In terms of development content, during the 2 days of events, approximately 2,000 attendees were able to enjoy over 40 presentations, content by Fernando Rizzato (Lead Software Consultant, Latin America · Embarcadero Technologies).
And a select team of Embarcadero MVPs: Landerson Gomes, Thulio Bittencour, Alessandro Medeiros, Gabriel Oliveira, Kivian Emerim, Sileide Campos, Samuel Muka David, Juliomar Marchetti, Wagner Landgraf, Vinícius Sanchez, Heber Mazutti and César Cardoso.
