5 Kai Projects Get First Giveaways in Summer Campaign!

Kai Summer Wave Giveaways

Hi everyone. We have the first five Kai-assisted projects chosen and they received the initial giveaways in this year’s Summer Wave Campaign that encourages RAD Studio users to submit projects built with help from Kai, the AI coding assistant inside the RAD Studio IDE, for recognition and super giveaways.

The Kai Summer Wave continues to receive entries, and the next round of project reviews is scheduled for the webinar series from August 17 to August 21  at 12 PM CDT (5 PM UTC), where we’ll be highlighting what we’ve had so far. During that week we’re also going to have some great topics including how to create an MCP server to get your AI to talk to your databases, a “how to” from one of MVPs where he takes us through his multi-agent workflow with Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT. Look for details coming shortly.

We will also discuss how to get Kai to work better with some tips + tricks courtesy of the Kai dev team and Developer Advocate Ian Barker. Those sessions will also show configuring Kai to access Claude, LM Studio, and some special setups for LLMs like Gemma4. But you don’t need anything fancy, as long as you used Kai at some point to create your app, even if it wasn’t used for all of it,  then you can enter the giveaways.

Meanwhile, there’s plenty of time to submit your own project to the Summer Wave campaign, and you can do so by jumping to the page linked below and filling out your entry.

You can also enter if you don’t have a compatible version of Delphi or C++Builder. Just download the latest trial version and you’ll automatically get a trial of Kai too.

The Kai Summer Wave Campaign involves some of the best free giveaways we’ve ever shared, so don’t miss the opportunity to grab your share of the appreciation and recognition!

Here are the selected giveaway recipients for July in reverse order:

5. Join the Dots Game, People’s Choice Award

Kai_Join_the_DotsThe maker of the Join The Dots Game says “this example is what can be built in 90 minutes with Kai. IDE integration is nice; it can take advantage of IDE features, which are a bit trickier to use from the CLI tools I’m currently using.”

4. Modernized GlyphView, Monthly Super Giveaway Runner-Up

Kai_GlyphView

According to the dev for Modernized GlyphView, “the productivity gain from using KAI to detect bugs, improve/optimize the code, refactor the interface, and add new features was immense. The interaction with the IDE—allowing the detection of compilation errors and direct editing of files open in the IDE buffer via the MCP—brought even more advantages. I would say that what was accomplished in a single day would probably have taken a week of coding, testing, and bug fixing without KAI.”

Modernized GlyphView gets a $300 Amazon Voucher and a Whole Tomato Visual Assist license.

3. DJ/Music Reactive Animation, Monthly Super Giveaway Runner-Up

Kai_DJ_Music

The DJ/Music Reactive Animation developer says he “had an idea for many years to develop a piece of software that can be used by musicians and DJ’s during a live performance to show a reactive visual animation that moves in time with their set. A node-based system that can be controlled by MIDI. Kai saved months of development work.” This app is absolutely GORGEOUS and uses incredibly sophisticated graphics and UI. You really have to see it.

2. Mouse Jiggler, Monthly Super Giveaway Runner-Up

The maker of Mouse Jiggler insists “using Kai has saved me multiple days of work. With regard to Kai, I am not very good at UI’s and it hooked everything from the jiggler class to the main form which it did with 100% accuracy. I think it has saved me over a day and the actual interface took Kai around 15 minutes of prompting and waiting. Well worth it. Plus it looks exactly as I’d hoped, simple and uncluttered.” Mouse jigglers can be a controversial choice but, even so, it’s a great demo of how to enhance your skills and speed up development using Kai.
