The application demonstrates the assignment of 200.000 students to Greek University Schools of their choice (of 30 choices), following the National (Greek) placement exams and it is built in Delphi. According to the developer, “The Greek Ministry of Educations takes almost 2 months after having the exam grades in their hands until they announce these placement results and this application demonstrated that it can be done in less than 1 second. This specific application was suggested (with source code given, too) to the Greek Parliament by the Panhellenic (Greek) Informatics Union (in 2010, 2012 and 2016), as a proof that this task can be done very fast, instead of holding 200.000 families in agony about which school their children will study at, where to move to and rent for the next year, etc.”
