maXbox is an open source script studio with an Object Pascal scripting language. According to the developer, “it is an open-source script tool engine, compiler, and source library, all in one. Use it to design and code your scripts! Pure Code for Object Pascal Scripting. The guiding principles are simplicity and the reduction of complexity to the max. The app is self-containment āout of the boxā with no need for installation or registration.”

While there is 32-bit version of maXbox available only, it runs on 64-bit editions of Microsoft Windows. On Windows Server, maXbox runs both in āServer with Desktop Experienceā (āServer with a GUIā) and āServer Coreā installation options. maXbox also runs on Wine of Linux and Mac. We use the tool for testing, security-checks and administration tasks.
