Borland/Embarcadero should give you a "Best buying" prize……….

Ah, Delphi 5! That was the best version.

I threw all my books away, thinking it will be faster to find info in the HELP… Big, big mistake.

It pains me to say this, but looking at the overwhelming number of bugs, and how new features are getting priority over fixing these bugs, I’d say that Delphi/C++ Builder has passed its adulthood and is now senile. I hope Embarcadero soon comes to its senses and realizes people are actually making a living using Delphi/C++ Builder and it’s not just a toy..

So often the users are forgotten. XE3 forces me to rewrite complex code-based Rave to Fast reports. No grid in HTML5 builder - and now there is a grid - so 2 rewrites of my web apps. So much waste of time. Never mature - so much product released before it is useable. For exampe Delphi 8 - I doubt anyone relesesd a commercial application with that version. For me XE3 is the same. Worse than M$ tools if that is possible.
