Random Thoughts on the Passing Scene #114

- What is the #1 most ownloaded System utility at CNet? Advanced SystemCare Free. Why do I tell you this? Because it is built with Delphi, that’s why!
- Now here is a headline you love to see: “The future of Delphi looks brighter than ever before.”
- CodeProject is a pretty cool site with a lot of good stuff – and now that good stuff includes an Introduction to Delphi Prism.
- The JEDI team is hard at work as always – they have just announced the stable release of JVCL 3.37 is available for download. We all owe a hardy thanks to Olivier Sannier and the JEDI guys for their awesome support of the Delphi community.
- Another headline you love to see: Delphi is fast, very fast.

Advanced System Care may be the most downloaded, but for system cleanup I prefer Glary Utilities.
And to keep it Delphi related - yes Glary Utilities is also a Delphi app.

…shouldn’t it be:
June 29th, 2009 at 5:30 am"…team, I sharded, at work as always…"
No it should be: "… team, is hard at work…".

June 29th, 2009 at 11:10 amCNET is a land-of-marketroids and you can buy your #1 download spot. Give us $200 and we’ll create a category for you to be #1 in. The reputable vendors of shareware stay away from CNET these days. This iobit guy uses trialpay and all kinds of other sleazy things on his website, and claims that his software "does everything" and yet it’s never been reviewed in any PC software magazine. How fishy is that?
