I would have expected the Delphi Product Manager to talk about the Embarcadero All-Access subscription model as soon as it was revelead. He could have talked about what it means from a Delphi developer perspective, what it offers, prices, advantages, etc. It is called "marketing" (a word still with an obscure meaning at CodeGear) and "sinergy" - to strike the iron while is hot, and explain exactly what it is.
But he didn’t yet - is this the right message to Delphi developers?

Well, maybe after he probably did a lot of damage releasing a teaser about the new compiler plans, he was asked not to speak about company plans. It was a stone thrown into the pond - without any further reliable info (and possibly a roadmap), leaving customers wondering if they have a reason still to invest in Delphi or if time has come to migrate to other languages and technologies - a perfect example of self-inflicted FUD.

Luigi - right, so when when Nick posts an article he does wrong, but when he fails to post one he does wrong too. That said, if you’re going to post ‘you’re an idiot’-type comments, at least spell-check them first (it’s ’synergy’ not ’sinergy’).

James, the problem with CodeGear is they are still unable to properly market their products. Worse, they are even able to spread FUD about their own products talking about big changes without a clear plan.
And you can do the wrong thing both writing the wrong article, or missing to publish the right one.
About my spelling of synergy, sorry, but when you will be able to speak and write Italian without mistakes feel free to complain about my English.

And or the ones who want to get rid of the floating designer…. VS10 is going to allow "floating documents" to better taka advantage of multiple monitors!
