Highlander BetaBlogging

28 Aug

By now, you’ve probably seen some of our field testers who are starting to blog about the cool stuff they are doing with Highlander. There are a lot of new things to do with it, and so it is nice to have our field testers out there talking about it.

But I want to make sure that everybody sees all the BetaBlogging going on, so here is a list of things that you should take a look at:

If you’ve done a BetaBlogging entry, be sure to contact me, and I’ll post it here. We certainly want to let everyone see what you are up to.

I had found VCL.NET very slow (and I work on a heavy 3-tier web service/desktop application over, so I relied much on it). It’s faster than BDS2006?

    Hi, everyone!

I don’t known that’s the right channel, but i have a strong interest in becoming a field tester for highlander.

I’m a brasilian Delphi user since the first version and actually work in multi-tier desktop applications and asp.net, using Delphi 7 and BDS 2006.

    Thank you all!

    > Are there any general IDE improvements outside of dotNet things that perhaps are not getting as much coverage as they could?

Yes, there are many bug and performance enhancements in RAD Studio 2007 for both Delphi, Delphi.NET and C++Builder.
