After our 2nd webinar on Software Archeology using RAD Studio the response from the customers was very exciting.  The customer’s that participated had great questions and seemed to get the incredible value and functionality RAD Studio brings to developers since the release of Delphi 7 and C++Builder 6.A few questions that were asked during the presentation were around support in what products: 

• Is the concept of Software Archeology supported in C++Builder 2007?  C++Builder 2007 and RAD Studio allows for UML visualization across all versions.  However code Audits and Metrics and Profiling are not supported at this time.  The new Unit Testing integration is a great add and really helps when looking at making changes to existing code.  Documentation generation is available in the
  Enterprise and above editions.  Today the support is limited; I have added the request to add the needed features for parity.

• Can I create my own Documentation formats?  Or in other words, can I customize or create documentation templates?  The answer is Yes.

• In the case study, what kind of errors where found when the experts reviewed the source code?  The review found some of the more common things that happen; the focus seemed to gravitate toward style and approach, rather than possible errors.

So overall the initial response from the RAD Studio webinars is a success.  I would love to hear what other topics you would like to see covered in the coming months.
