Making the globe a bit more personal
During the process of updating our web sites to reflect that we are now part of Embarcadero, we also found time to add a little more personalization to the web site. When you select one of our supported locations, the little globe next to the location changes to approximate your location.
I logged out of our web sites so my personal profile information would not affect our default location presentation. Here’s the default "global" globe when you’re not logged in:
After I change my location to "Australia" I see:
After I change my location to "France" I see:
After I change to "Greater China" I see:
(Note that the language also changes to the "default" language for each location, but that’s the way our location support has always worked.)
Our other supported locations also have globes rendered to display something closer to the location selected.
It’s a trivial tweak, but I think it’s important to acknowledge the importance of our customers in every location on the globe.

Glad you like it. We’d set up the metadata for it several months ago, but never found the time to render the globe views. It’s amazing how trivial things can get in the way sometimes

There is problem with menus on firefox 3.
There is small distance between the links on the menu bar and the actual menu. Because of that when you move for example above Home and Home menu is displayed and you try to move mouse over the menu, it quickly disappears.
On IE it is fine. I’m not sure about other versions of firefox.

Doychin, please try a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 in most browsers). FireFox 3 had this before we launched the new look, but we fixed it before the launch.

Hmmm, I’m in New Zealand but after choosing the appropriate location I can only see a globe dominated by the lesser, West Island and can hardly see the more important North or South Islands at all.

Jolyon, I was wondering when someone would say we didn’t have a globe close enough to them.
We currently have 10 globes, including the "global" western-hemisphere centric one. When we get more time, we’ll render some more globes for the most specific locations. Thanks for trying it out!

i’m in arab region but after choosing the suadia arabia location i can see the menu but the submenu dos not appear or there is too many lateness to appear in arabic language the reading come from the right side to left side like hebrow . i have IE 7.0 i try to make Ctrl+F5 but the problem not solved .
i can help For "globalization" in my region
