Thank you world, hello Texas….

I returned from the RAD Studio XE2 World Tour and my round the world in 13 days trip early Sunday morning after stops last week in Moscow, Warsaw, Amsterdam and Washington DC.  Many thanks to the thousand plus attendees that I had the privilege to spend time with.  There was loads of excitement about the new Windows VCL capabilities (64-bit, LiveBindings, and Styles) and the multi-platform capabilities of FireMonkey.  RAD Studio XE2 also contains eight solutions for mobile development with: a) four DataSnap connectors (for iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone 7), b) RadPHP support for Android and iOS, c) Delphi FireMonkey for iOS, and d) Prism support for Windows Phone 7.

Here are a couple of panorama pictures of the developers in the Warsaw and Amsterdam stops.

After spending yesterday in the office, I am not sitting at San Jose Airport waiting to start my three city RAD Studio XE2 Texas Tour - tonight in Austin (Sept. 20), Wednesday in Houston (Sept. 21) and Thursday in Dallas (Sept. 22).  I hope everyone in Texas will have the chance to come see RAD Studio XE2 in action and also share some dinner and sodas.

There are still many other world tour city stops taking place in Europe, the US, Asia, and Australia.  Embarcadero evangelists are really enjoying visiting with you.  Come and join the fun.
