Rails 2.0: It’s done! Ruby 2.0 is on the way!

It is holiday time for Ruby and Rails.  Gifts have been under construction this past year.

Rails 2.0 is now available.  We’re working on a CodeGear 3rdRail update to allow you to use Rails 2.0. Stay tuned to CDN for news about 3rdRail update availability.

The Ruby language vesion 2.0 is also under development.  Matz says to expect a Christmas present and that Ruby 2.0 is in the final stage of development and debug.  3rdRail will also be updated in the future to support the updated language.

Read DHH’s post outlining what’s new in Rails 2.0.

Hi, do you guys have a release schedule you could publish for updates? I’m working on a Rails 2 project and desperate to use a good IDE, and I know that 3rdRails is the best on offer at the moment.

Looking forward to buying my copy… just want to know when I’ll be able to do that!
