Goodbye!

Hi Everyone,
Today is my last day at Borland. I’ve decided to take a new and exciting job that I just can’t pass up. I’ll be working at Apple in the Cocoa Framework group. I’ve always had an admiration for Mac’s, and now is my chance to use one every day! I’m going to miss working with everyone at Borland; all of the people here are wonderful. My co-workers are very talented and fun to work with. My managers have been very fexible and always willing to accomodate the needs of myself and other employees. I started working at Borland over six years ago as an intern in Developer Support. Since then, I have worked in QA and R&D on several cool projects, and I have enjoyed every minute. Help Insight in Delphi 2005

Delphi 2005 has a cool new feature called Help Insight. When you move the mouse over a symbol and wait for a second, the IDE grabs the XML documentation for that symbol and dynamically displays the help for it (if available). Currently, it requires the help to be in an XML file; eventually the IDE will grab that information directly from source. If you want, you can customize the look of the Help Insight window. It simply is a mini-web page. Inside the ObjRepos directory, you will find HelpInsight.css and HelpInsight.xsl. By tweaking the .css file, you can easily control the look of the page. By tweaking the .xsl file, you can control the layout of the page. Have fun! I may post some updated looks soon. Keep watching.. -corbin
