Questions, comments, suggestions, smart remarks…
Michael Swindell, DevCo Director of Product Management, has just posted this blog entry publishing several new email addresses so that the ommunity can send in company name ideas, company suggestions, and just ask some general questions surrounding the whole IDE product spin-off.

DevCo can attract more developers by supporting Mozilla/Gecko app development, easier Google API integration, cross OS deployment (think of a better but more focused Kylix).

Don’t get suckered into .Net any further.
Too much vendors and opensource projects in that direction that you just can’t realisticly compete with.

I disagree with not supporting .Net any further. As long as Delphi lives and breathes in Windows you are at the mercy of MS and that includes going the way of their technology. But Delphi has to differentiate itself from VS. Think of features that VS won’t dare do….

Please don’t make the Kylix-mistake. I’ve actually been to a conference where Borland asked the audience: "What do you developers want?"
The question should have been: "Show me the money!"
IMHO: Profit is not a dirty word. It’s the sole key-word for survival. Note that DevCo doesn’t have to have the largest market-share for making a decent profit. Chasing market-share is a classic scenario for going bankrupt.

I am in decision making position.
I have one problem.
I want update 1,00,000 records at one time short.
i have four Idea. That is
1. Batch Updates(ADO.NET Data adapter)
2. Open Xml
3. Bulk copy (SQL Bulk copy)
4. MARS (Multiple Active Result-sets)
but i cann’t to decide
which way give best performance of that problem
